  The hotel was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the (free!) wellness, which was just wonderful. The breakfast/dinner buffet was great, with plenty of choice available, and two live cooking stations. The staff was friendly, except for one grumpy man with glasses behind the reception. In our opinion, this hotel would be competitive within... 别人怎么说 » the 4 star range, but easily beats the others with 3 stars. Hotel Escorial will be our first choice for future trips to Gran Canaria, and we'll defin - The Restaurant and Bar staff are particularly friendly and genuine. Breakfast and Lunch was very good especially for a three star hotel. The location is central to Playa del Ingles. This hotel also has an excellent roof terrace with a Jacuzzi and a wellness centre with a 'dead sea' pool, great for floating about in.

  I thought the food was really good and they had a great variety of food. The spa facilities were excellent and so was the girl on reception there, she was always a pleasure to deal with. The kiddies entertainment was very good also. The hotel was very clean - Our room had a fantastic sea view with complete privacy. Also very quiet.   Apart from the hotel which we LOVED, we liked the friendly locals. We rented bikes and cycled around and we were amazed by how nice all drivers were. Also when walking. Very good food in all restaurants we tried. As a family with young children, the facilities & organisation were absolutely spot on. We have a policy to always holiday somewhere different each year, but we might make an exception in this case!
