  My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. The hotel itself is beautiful and kept up. Our room was lovely with a terrace overlooking the Cathedral. Staff was very accommodating and recommended excellent restaurants. It was a wonderful experience!

  It was right in the middle of the city and herself was delighted as it was on one of the main streets with all the famous Spanish retailers.   Everythig was well organised especially as we were travelling as a group. The staff very helpful and courteous. - Primarily the location, but the room was a good size and very quiet due to double gazed doors.

  The vibe of the foyer area was like a cool nightclub in the evenings with dark mood lighting - very trendy. To say there was clubbing music streamed in the foyer which you could hear on all levels of walk-way, the bedrooms were sound-proofed really well. The upstairs bar has amazing views.   Location of hotel was excellent and was very modern clean and friendly - Location is perfect: city center and underground are close. Staff is friendly and nice. Price was incredible(special opening promo.). Rooms are cool.
