  This is a stunning hotel in a stunning setting. Surrounded by mountains on three sides with far reaching views across the countryside. The food is always first class and sometimes exceptional; they produced imaginative alternatives for a non meat eater. The service is friendly, responsive and relaxed. We had high expectations of the hotel and they were exceeded in every respect. - Fantastic peaceful location tucked away in the foothills. A great get away from it all holiday destination. Rooms are really lovely. The only comment I would make is that the location wouldn't be suited to those less able to walk due the rustic nature of paths. Fantastic food. Will go back again without doubt.

  We had booked a studio apartment, which at £100 per night was not good value for money for what was offered, but having spoken to reception we eventually ended up with a more acceptable room.
