  Staff were excellent and so attentive, despite speaking limited English they were always willing to help - ie giving directions, extra pillows etc. Room was minimal but perfect for the price - had a comfy double bed in a private room that was quiet and had an AC which is all we were after! I had a terrace, it was quite (except the bus) I loved looked TV in the lounge (Eurovision) with other quests. I loved it is really near the stations. I highly recommend it!

  For a two-star apartment Doña Elvira was the best we can get. As you have to be aware of those two stars, there is nothing to be disappointed about. The location may not be right in the middle of Málaga´s center, but in a three minute walk you will be at the great shopping street. Some reviews say that the area is dangerous which I totally disagree with - some of the surrounding streets are a but shabby but Málaga is undergoing but we didn't mind. The staff were very friendly and were more than happy to answer our questions.

  We booked late for two nights and requested parking. When we arrived the desk man who didn't speak English conveyed the parking was full that night but would be OK the second night.   This hotel is in an excellent location, it is an easy walk to both the new and the old towns. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The room temperature was also comfortable for this time of year. The bathroom was a good size and did not fog-up, or get wet after a shower. There is very limited free parking in the area, the streets are busy most of the time; the best option is to pay for - This is a very nice hotel and a good value in Malaga. I paid about $60/night for a double. The room was large and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is located right next to a highway, so there was some street noise, but it was not as bad as I expected (although I sleep with ear plugs anyway). The hotel is right next to the city's old quarter, and about a 20 minute walk (or 5 minute cab ride) to the beach. Overall, I definitely recommend it.
