  This was one of the nicest hotels we´ve stayed at in years! Very cool, sophisticated room in a fantastic location at a great price.   Staff were excellent and so attentive, despite speaking limited English they were always willing to help - ie giving directions, extra pillows etc. Room was minimal but perfect for the price - had a comfy double bed in a private room that was quiet and had an AC which is all we were after! I had a terrace, it was quite (except the bus) I loved looked TV in the lounge (Eurovision) with other quests. I loved it is really near the stations. I highly recommend it!

  Great hotel, right in the middle of lots of nightlife and attractions. Lovely room with a view over the street, but also quiet at night - excellent nights sleep. Staff were fabulous, really friendly and went out of their way to get information about train times, possible train strikes etc. Spotlessly clean everywhere.   This hotel is a very good hotel for a stay in Malaga its close to the city centre and transport systems, being only a short ride on the airport train or taxi.   For a two-star apartment Doña Elvira was the best we can get. As you have to be aware of those two stars, there is nothing to be disappointed about. The location may not be right in the middle of Málaga´s center, but in a three minute walk you will be at the great shopping street. Some reviews say that the area is dangerous which I totally disagree with - some of the surrounding streets are a but shabby but Málaga is undergoing but we didn't mind. The staff were very friendly and were more than happy to answer our questions.
