His kindness is fully shown an - This hotel is very well located a short walk to the old city and public transport. The décor and fittings were all first class, very clean and nice. The rooms were very quiet even with a view to the street. The king bed was extremely comfortable and the tv had many English channels. The manager was extremely helpful and keen to please.   The room was small (perfect for a young couple) but everything seemed new and very clean. We had a small balcony off our room which was lovely and let lots of sunlight in. I was impressed by the quality for how much we paid. Great location for tourist attractions and just for wandering. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

  The staff was really nice, they all speak English, it's valueable as not many people in Spain can. The hostel manager Marc was polite and he even agreed to wait until our arrival (at 0:30 a.m.).   We recently stayed here for a last minute night in Barcelona due to French airstrikes sending us via spain. Clearly we wanted something central close to some nightlife and most of all cheap! This hostel is a gem it was spotless and really modern. I will return or recommend to anyone value fo - Lovely architecture, marble winding staircase and old wooden doors, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. TV on the wall. Lots of information available about Barcelona. Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night).

  My friends and I really liked Casa Consell and liked it the most of all places we stayed during our two week trip thruout Europe. Stewart and his staff were very helpful and the accomodations were very comfortable. Our room was also very comfortable for the three of us. Stewart and staff helped us with our daily activities and getting - We are received with warm welcome to this charming hostel with excellent staffs. Everywhere was really clean and well-organized. Staffs are always for us to help. In our room, we had even patio which enjoyed a lot sitting out. We expected more of the noise from the streets, but it was really quiet. Kitchen facility was also very nice and clean when we cooked one evening and prepared extra things during breakfast as well. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will definitely come back!!!
