Rosie, the lady who welcomed us and served our breakfast was very sweet, friendly and helpful. She couldn't speak English but used a translate app on her tablet which worked excellently well.

This hotel is very well located a short walk to the old city and public
transport. The décor and fittings were all first class, very clean and
nice. The rooms were very quiet even with a view to the street. The
king bed was extremely comfortable and the tv had many English
channels. The manager was extremely helpful and keen to please. There
is no front desk nor is there a clear big sign identifying the entry,

Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

The rooms are nicely decorated, the hotel has its own personality, every room is decorated differently. We had a room on the top floor and it came with a large terasse and sunbeds. The bed was perfect, not too hard, not too soft. Location is great, just one block from Passeig de Gracia and Plaza Catalunya.
