They really make us feel like at home staying at Backpacker House Bcn. - Excellent positioning - 2 min on foot from a shopping area/Starbucl/Universitat Metro and max 10-15 min on foot from Placa de Catalunya and La rambla. It saves you a lot of time if you want to visit places and don't like to spend too much time in the subway or with your map trying to see where the nearest subway is. The personell is very nice and the places looks pretty well.

  The room was on the small side, but it was clean and pleasant. The included breakfast is really a kitchen with cereal, juices, coffee and some sliced cheese, meat and bread (with a toaster) that you can use 24 hours a day, which is very nice as well. Great location, less than 5 minutes off Las Ramblas, but the street is safe and quiet.   We enjoyed our stay here! Very homely and the staff we very accommodating especially with all our tourist questions. Very close to Las Ramblas and all the fun.   We loved the size of the room and all It's facilities (washer, dryer, microwave, dishwasher, ...). The room was clean and check in was really easy. There was also a little booklet explaining everything in the room and a welcome bottle of cava.   As it was my 30th a group of 8 of us decided on a trip to Barcelona and I came across the Serennia Apartments which I booked. I was extremely happy with my choice as were the group who I came with. Special mention also of Albert who ran the building...very nice fella who spoke perfect English and who was very help - Albert was very helpful and informative, we had a slight problem on our first night with the occupants in the two apartments above coming in drunk at different times and ringing our door bell. We were not very happy, but Albert spoke to them and we didn't here them for the rest of our stay. The apartment was very well situated for what we wanted, Las Ramblas and Camp Nou. It was nice to come back to a comfortable apartment at the end of a long day out walking.

  Excellent Location. A few minutes walk from Placa Catalunya and Eixample. 59 Bus stops nearby which takes you to the Passeig Maritim and all down the Ramblas. The Mon Bus to the Airport / Sitges is around the corner, as are the A2 and A1 Airport buses. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, a small supermarket, bakery, bars.
