The hotel was fabulous! The room was beautiful, decorated with original art. They had wonderful pillows which allowed for a truly comfortable night's sleep. Very nice room. Friendly helpful staff. Dinner buffet was excellent, a terrific value, especially after 32 days hiking on el camino de santiago encountering almost universally awful and overpriced food.
The location is excellent if if are planning to leave on the train; easy walking both to the heart of the city and the train station. -

we stayed for 1 night only at the hesperia peregrino in santiago before moving on to a coruna . we could not have chosen a nicer hotel. the staff were very helpful and most friendly. we did not book breakfast but had coffee and toast around the pool area the price was good and the surroundings were beautiful we were sorry we had booked only one
