  We had booked a room for one night but when we entered it was so lovely we immediately asked for a second night. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. A wonderful treat after completing over 400 km on The Camino Frances. The location is great. The staff was wonderful. Friendly and helpful and always smiling. Good facilities which was just as well as Iberia lost my luggage! Good location on the very edge of the old town opposite a great cafe for breakfast and near good restaurants. I recommend the internal rooms which look out on to a central covered courtyard which were very peaceful. Comfy beds and warm rooms which helped as the Santiago weather was dreadful!

While the street is very quiet (and safe), the building is soundproof.   We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !!
