  The main plus point, was that the hotel was a great central base for our trip. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Only problem was the football result was not a great one! - It was very comfortable especially the pillows. It wasnice and close to the city centre

  The hostal was ok, nothing luxurious but clean and comfortable. The facility is located on a house and has the reception on the second floor and the rooms on the fifth floor. This was not optimal since one has to ring a bell on the fifth floor to get the main door opened there (the receptionist opens the door from the second floor by watching on a... 别人怎么说 » video camera located on the fifth floor).   Pepe and his wife were really helpful and gave us excellent specific advice especially on where to go and how to travel with young children and held onto our luggage after check out as we had a late flight. Also walking distance to Ramblas de Catalunya. Excellent for shopping, restaurants, caffe'-s and more of "real" Barcelona. Apartments look exactly like in the picture: modern, super clean, neat, new, well equpied. (a new building behind an old facade) Staff is super friendly, helpful and clear on all the costs/options. I will stay there again.
