We have a family of four (two teens) and had a terrible time finding a hotel or anything with appropriate bedding arrangements. No only did we have two very nice bedrooms, but it had a lovely kitchen and living area. A balcony overlooked the street. The building is nearly sound proof to the city traffic.

Staff was really helpful and friendly. There's two different guest houses in nearby buildings, one is rather communal backpacker style and the other is quieter. I was in the former (without knowing what I was getting into), and they were easy going about moving me into the latter. Good kitchen set up. The backpacker place was actually pretty nice for that sort of thing, just not what I was looking for (I'm a bit older than that now, and like my peace and quiet!).

The location of Hostal Boutique Khronos was excellent, 10 mins walk from the main square where buses to and from airport were situated. Bus Turistic city tour buses also leave from here. We were also only 15 mins walk from The Ramblas, the main tourist shopping street. Khronos was basic but very clean & the staff were very friendly & helpful. I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent.
