  The location of the pension couldnt be more perfect. In 10-15 min walk, you'r at the beach and in 2 min, u're at La Rambla Street. The pension is located in a small alley so it is very quiet. The room was simple but clean. The air condition, which is a must in Barcelona in July, worked perfectly. We loved our stay - We stayed twice in a room with private bathroom and will be coming back for sure. The hotel is extremely nice: the design is simple, but very nice, in white and blue tones, the bed was extremely comfortable, rooms had a small balcony, the bathroom was clean and neat, the reception was friendly and helpful. It is 2 min walk from Las Ramblas and Columbus. All in all, you get much more than you are paying for. 10 out of 10.

  The location was fantastic, all the staff were really friendly and helpful, the hostal was very clean, beds and towels changed everyday. Great stuff, especially a middle aged man on the reception, he gave us a city map, a metro map, explained how to get to the most popular turistic places and recommended some good restaurants.   The receptionists were very kind and friendly, I felt immediately like at home so my staying was exactly as I would that it be, relax in a quite place; Hostal Drassanes is in a good spot, not on a big traffic road, near to shopping for whatever you need, it's a very clean place with elevator, air conditioner, tv, wi-fi, bathroom in room. All I needed was a bed and an en suite with shower as I was attending a conference and eating out at night. I got exactly what I paid for. I could have stayed at the renaissance which was 9 times the price but why bother as I never use the facilities

  The Guys at the hostel were extremely friendly and helpful! We received a key to both the room and the front door, which made it easy for us to come and go as we pleased. The rooms are situated right in the middle of everything, close to both the harbour, La Rambla and right inside of the Gothic city.   Location of the hostel is the best possible in Barcelona. Couple of steps and you are in the center of Gothic quater, couple of stations in the tube and you are at the clean sea beach.   Location is excellent: the center of old city. You need less than 5 minutes to go to Rambla (with metro station), port, Catalunia square.
