  Staff were friendly and spoke English fluently. The room and facilities were very clean. We didn't think the room was small at all - we could fit both our large suitcases in without any troubles. The hostal is also conveniently located in the heart of Barcelona. Passeig de Gracia is within walking distance and Casa Mila is just two blocks away! Bus Turistic city tour buses also leave from here. We were also only 15 mins walk from The Ramblas, the main tourist shopping street. Khronos was basic but very clean & the staff were very friendly & helpful.   We recently stayed here for a last minute night in Barcelona due to French airstrikes sending us via spain. Clearly we wanted something central close to some nightlife and most of all cheap! This hostel is a gem it was spotless and really modern. I will return or recommend to anyone value fo - Lovely architecture, marble winding staircase and old wooden doors, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. TV on the wall. Lots of information available about Barcelona. Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night).

  We are a young couple with 2 month old baby stayed there for 4 days. The first room that we got was small but hed an inside balcony, we needed a bigger room so at the next morning we got transfer to a bigger room.
