The hotel was very central and easy to find. It was within 5 mins walk from the Tio Pepe Bodega (we went on the tour) and the cathedral and alcazabar. It was very tastefully decorated and looked like it had been decorated very recently. Our room was very nice and was heated. It was very clean. We had the breakfast there. There was a buffet of cold meats / breads and pastries etc, coffee and juices. Once we sat down they came and asked us how we would like our eggs and also brought us bacon egg.
所有评语 » Casa Grande is the ideal place for visiting Jerez and its surroundings. I spent four nights in Jerez and got all the help needed from Monika and her staff. I visited a sherry bodega and went to a flamenco dance show. Cadiz with its nice beaches can be easily reached by train. For all activities the staff was very helpful. The hotel itself is an old townhouse that has been well refurbished. It has a typical patio, a nice roof terrace and tasteful furnishing. This small boutique property with only 15 rooms provides very personalized service with extremely friendly staff. The breakfast in the inner courtyard was excellent - in addition to the buffet which has the typical breads/pasties, fruits, meats, cheeses, and yogurt, they offer you made-to-order eggs at no additional cost, which were awesome! I would definitely stay here again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!. Classic Andalusian patio house, spotlessly clean, excellent service. We had the junior suite on the roof with direct access to the sun loungers. Hotel is very peaceful yet is close to the old town and walking distance of the train station. Wonderful base for visiting this beautiful city, will stay again and would recommend to anyone visiting Jerez. We only stayed here for one night, but really enjoyed it. The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Also had a very good breakfast. The staff were very helpful, we wanted to do a sherry tour, but hadn't booked up, she told us we could go to tio pepe at 5.00 with an english guide, so we did, this was our highlight of jerez. Everything, the perfect boutique hotel. Staff you would wish for at every hotel you visit. I travel a lot and this is the best small hotel I have been to in many years. Will definitely return. Parking arrangement very good, 2 days on street for €5 with voucher from hotel. This was our second stay at Casa Grande and it is an excellent hotel in every respect. From the moment we entered the hotel we were made to feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the lovely ladies who run the establishment. We will certainly return. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. they spoke excellent English and nothing was too much trouble. Location was excellent, within a few minutes walk to the centre and the Tio Pepe sherry bodega. Beautifully decorated with a serene atmosphere. Monica was super! She has the insight of all the surrounding area, where to visit, where to eat, what bodegas to tour, etc. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and accomodating. Casa Grande is a very nice quiet character hotel ,very well situated for the sights, restaurants & tapas bars of Jerez, spotlessly clean, comfy beds,and very attentive and helpfull staff, a very pleasant hotel. Roughly half way between the train station and the old town, with short walking distances. Inside courtyard area, access to roof patio overlooking square. Very helpful staff, provided advice, maps etc. Very nice small hotel with spacious, clean and well maintained room and lots of atmosphere. Very attentative personal. Breakfast was on a very high level incl. eggs and excellent bread. We will return. A delightful hotel well positioned in the centre of Jerez. Faultless. tea/coffee facilities would have been nice, although I am sure had we asked they would have obliged. Beds were very comfortable but pillows did not match their quality. Superior room, beautiful but quite noisy from the traffic/ buses, with hindsight, an interior room would have been better. Parking was a problem, however we were able to use the garage during our stay. Breakfast was slightly limited, coffee wasn't great. Breakfast seemed a bit steep for 12 Euros so we ate at one of themany bars nearby. A very minor thing - I love poached eggs for breakfast - these could have been better. Not a 'Spanish' thing I suspect !. All was good. Having to ring the bell every time we came back, although we understand why. Recommended restaurants were not as good, too touristy, as more authentic Spanish ones we found. N/A. Parking can be difficult, but we visited during the Vendemia, Religious festival surrounding the sherry harvest so especially busy. We had a room at the front of the hotel and the traffic was a little noisy. Nothing. The only window had a patio view, with no normal air circulation, because of the plastic ceiling, which covered the patio. It´s better to check in advance which room you are going to receive. We felt a bit cold in the breakfast patio. Nothing. nothing. Parking was difficult. Nothing. Our room was right on the rather busy street and the traffic noise went on from early a.m. The breakfast was very good but overpriced. Nothing. Nothing. Whole stay was very good. Front door always locked. The beds and pillows are horrible. We almost did not sleep.
