El Retiro had only been open for two days when we visited; it had been closed for a year and was now under new management.
Charming wooden chalets well equipped for self catering. There is a café bar on-site but the café was not open at the time of our visit.
Heating in chalet provide by A/C and the staff provided a halogen heater as well, as the temperature dipped to -4C.
Warm and comfortable beds.

You need to use the satnav coordinates to find as the address leaves you in the town of Villanueva.
Two of the party were bitten by midges which were still around.
