Our room looked out onto a tree lined avenue with a tiled central - We were there for 2 nights and the hotel was excellent .The car was parked for me and was outside waiting when we were checking out.In a lovely area with lots of bars and restaurants close by and a 20 minute walk to the Alhambra following the hotels directions,NOT Googles. As the Alhambra overlooks the city, if you do not like walking then public transport etc is advisable as it is quite hilly for the last half of the walk and would not suit every body.As we only used the hotel as a base and we

Friendly helpful staff, lovely room, well cared for ancient building and gardens, great restaurant, buffet breakfast one of the best I've had. We went in the off season - Dec 2013 so had substantial discounts. We'll go back again at this time of year. The staff also made sure we got to the Alhambra on time - the palace has strict entry times. We would have missed it without the front-desk staff organising the visit for us.

  We loved our time at Gran via 44, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the suite itself was top class, clean and beautiful, heaps of room for the whole family, they helped us with parking also which was excellent. Good location and easy cab ride to Alhambra or walk to restaurants and shopping. Safe area on busy street. We were able to store our luggage until our train to Seville. 2 bedroom good for families.
