Easy access from Palma, only 40 minutes by bus, but Esporles remains a typical Mallorcan village unspoiled by mass tourism. The hostal has every comfort, and at a great price. Staff are helpful but unobtrusive - I felt quite at home. Local cafes, bars and restaurants are all good quality and inexpensive. A great base for walking in the Tramuntana mountains. Characterful old building in lovely mountain village with its own garden where guests can relax. Hotel was good value and had excellent facilities, with friendly, helpful focusing on local cuisine.
