Realy liked our stay at hostel flores! Especially the location is exelent! Superfriendly staff, very helpfull! The hostel is located on the ramblas just next to the famous market la boquerilla! Location was very good for visiting the Old Gothic neighborhood, La
Rambla, and Barcelonetta, and only a 5 minute walk to Metro stop to
access farther sights. The room was small (typical for Spain), but with
a high ceiling it didn't feel too claustrophobic. Good value with
all the basics, plus a few extra amenities, like balcony and hair dryer.
A/c worked well, which was crucial in mid-July.

It's rather a budget one, but the location is very good, very
close not only to Plaza Catalunya but also to Parc de la Cuitadella. A
very interesting atmosphere of an old house, with once rather
luxurious wooden decorations, now a little bit aging, but still
alluring. The rooms are small but clean. A word of advice: go for a
"superior room" with the balcony. It's an essential
feature for a beautiful late night session after you have enjoyed full
day in the city.
