  Our 3 day visit to Barcelona was excellent - the hotel staff were very freindly and helpful. The location is out of town, but you don't have far to get on the Metro or the trams. Also, I asked the reception about local places to go and hang out and listen to good music, and they were more than willing to show me where to go.
