the standard room is perfectly equipped and styled, almost luxury the perfect 6 well designed setting of the whle place breakfast meets all desires the hosts really take care of you pool, pond, jacuzzi, game park all around you the best place we stayed within 3 weeks. The friendliness of the owners and impressive initial welcome. The absolutely beautilful rooms with outstanding furnishings and fittings obviously reflecting the owners own tastes. Outstanding breakfast. Peaceful setting. A stay to be remembered and recommended.

This was without doubt the best guesthouse we stayed in during our trip to South Africa and deserved its five star rating. From the warmest welcome to every possible comfort and wonderful breakfast, we could not have asked for more - it is wonderful!. What an amazing place it has a small wildlife reserve at the end of the property with Zebras/weaver birds and other African wildlife/ animals which were roaming free. Great rooms. Swellendam is a pretty boring place, but the guesthouse makes it with to visit. there was absolutely nothing not to like. nothing to dislike in my view. nothing!. Nothing at all. Nothing. Garden maintenance can be better. Poor breakfast. Didnt like the duvet Overpriced for what we got.
