It was my husband's 30th birthday and the hotel went out of their way to make it extra special for him. Special mention to Daphne and Mandla whom really went out of their way to make our stay extra special. I loved the room beyond everything and felt really cosy. Franschhoek Manor was just gorgeous. The house was lovely and the garden was beautiful with two swimming pools and lots of nooks and crannies to sit in peace. Our room was huge with a spacious bathroom and a great four poster bed you had to climb up into. Wolfgang did the best breakfasts we had in South Africa - not only was the food very tasty but it was all beautifully presented. The two dogs were very friendly and Christina and Wolfgang were the perfect hosts.
