  We were on our way to our honeymoon destination and stayed over at the hotel which was a wedding gift from my brother and sister-in-law. Got to the room and there were dried rose peddals everywhere - on the bed, on the floor, even in the bathroom with a bottle of champaign. It was so romantic.   The Mondior is in a super location within easy reach of Johannesburg International Airport. A courtesy bus runs to the airport every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. All in all, it was a wonderfully comfortable way - I stayed at Mondior for 1 night before my flight on the next day with my husband and 5 month old daughter. The hotel is right next to the airport and there is a shuttle every 20 min. to the terminal which is very convenient. As the room we booked was very small to fit a baby cot they upgraded us with bigger one which was very very nice of them. I was very impressed by the baby cot they gave us.   It was very quiet and relaxing comfortable bed beautiful gardens and outdoor area. You would never know you were so close to the airport. Food was well cooked and served nothing was too much trouble and we were welcome to stay until time for our late flight. The transport from/to the airport was so hassle free. The location is surprisingly rural, lots of open space around the hotel, and yet only a 10 minute ride to the airport. The gardens and landscaping of the hotel are beautiful and attract many native birds, great for the avid birdwatcher. The food was excellent.

This is great because you really get a good variety, and there was enough complimentary toilitries, (wh - I booked my family for three days 3 nights ahead of my arrival and spent th 4th & last night before we proceeded back home.Place was beyond my expectactions.   I loved this hotel. I stayed here primarily because of the reviews and I was not disappointed. Even before I got there, the staff was amazing - very responsive to emails, both clearly instructing me what to do when I arrived for airport pickup and also assisting me with putting together a program of sightseeing during my 18 hours on the ground. Airport pickup was just as des - The Staff were the best from the drivers, office staff cleaners and the kitchen staff. They became like family and I was sorry to have to say goodbye.
