  Efficient, easy check in and out. They held buffet open late because a SAA flight that came in late stranding passengers sent them here for a 10:15 pm arrival which was when I got there.   Location (in relation to Airport), decor, the Aesthetics (it's a beautiful Hotel!) but ... Two things about the location: 1. It is less than a 10 min drive from Tambo. Great!!!, You can't beat that! 2. It's located in the 'ghetto'. People were on the streets, not homeless people just seemingly 'aimless' people. And it was - We were en route to Singapore and stopped over at the Aviator Hotel for the night. I was very impressed by the excellent Service provided and the extra mile staff went to when they transported my husband, my sick 3 year old and myself to hospital at 3am so my son could be nebulised. I was extremely grateful. we stopped over at the aviator on our return trip for a few hours so our family could freshen up and rest before our flight to Durban. I will definitely be using the Aviator hotel again.

The collection service to and from the airport is efficient, the rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is excellent. The staff are friendly and happy to chat over a beer in the bar. If you want a convenient place to stay near the airport, this hotel is recommended. For the price, I cannot fault it.
