  Manaar House is definitely one of the best places to stay in Durban/Umhlanga. We stayed there for three nights in the self Catering Apartment. The a/c duplex unit was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and well maintained. That spoilt My whole stay as - The staff was very friendly and warm. We were treated very well. The location of the hotel was very central to most tourist attractions and there was a great vibe. The hotel was ideal for a family as the fridge, kettle with beverages and sink plus microwave was a bonus as it made it possible to save on costs by not having to eat out and enjoy meals in the hotel, appreciating the views in the dining area. The hotel gets a 10/10 from me and i really got value
