Location: it’s located on a main street (Regent), very safe to walk on your own, one block away from the ocean, with a lot of great restaurants and shops, as well as an amazing organic supermarket, within walking distance, a pharmacy next door, and several little but good restaurants inside the building. One can catch the city bus downtown (or other destination) right in front of the hotel, or walk a block and catch the “Hop on, Hop off” bus (blue and red lines) to go anywhere worth seeing. It .
所有评语 » Everything about the trip was fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and offered help assistance with any queries we had. The rooms were comfortable and exactly what we were looking for on our 11 day stay. The holiday had the perfect balance of nights out for a few drinks, relaxing on the beach and also taking in all the attractions Cape Town has to offer. Sea Point as a location is ideal as you are not too far, bay car, from the CBD or Clifton beach/Camps Bays. The location was very close to the beach and the coast line. The shops underneath for convience, the eatng places around it. Onsite secure parking available. The unit was clean .Although unit was facng the road , the noise of cars was not really heard. Would stay there again . Staff was friendly when I checked in after 9 pm. Kitchen had all that was required . Safety cleanliness simplicity location availability of public transport on your doorstep and shops and restaurants.proximity to the v and a and the promenade.although we had no view of the sea,the street view and the signal hill scenery was awesome.the size of the apartment and the kitchen balcony seating suited our needs. Special thanks to Andrea whom very helpfull to provide me few documents to meet our visa application. Spacious room for family with good rate, free private parking, and location very close to restaurant, supermarket, and only 6 minutes drive to sea point where you can find a lot of playgrounds for children. Good value for money, good location, close to shops and restaurants, Seapoint is a bigger area than we thought when booking and regent road is closer to bantry bay than green point so take this into account t when booking. 5Min walk from blue and red city bus tours, really friendly, helpful staff. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant (not directly affiliated with Amalfi) located on the ground floor was a very nice place to sit and have a relaxing meal. The rooms were entirely adequate (not luxury, but clean and functional for our needs). There was bags of space - we had a studio apartment with a bedroom on the mezzanine and 2 balconies, plus all kitchen facilities for a very reasonable price. There was also free wifi and parking, and it was very handy for all areas of Cape Town. Staff were great! They were friendly and helpful. Location is perfect as it close to beach, on the sea point high road, so shops and restaurants around. Was a bonus to have parking for residents, as street parking can be difficult in this area. Loved the fact that it is situated central to shops and public transport. Apartments are clean and comfortable and liked that breakfast / lunch / dinner is basically on one's doorstep. Highly recommended and will DEFINITELY book again. I liked the fact that the neighbourhood was friendly and welcoming. The Room where we were was a nice one, just what we needed my husband and I. We spent a very good time and would definitely recommend it to others. The staff were very warm and welcoming they even allowed us to check in a little earlier than expected... The room was comfortably clean and situated near the ocean... Spar is also situated close by for snacks... We booked through Bookings.com - the prices were exceptional value for money. The staff were wonderful and the service was excellent. We needed accommodation a week later and returned. That says it all!. The Amalfi Executive Suites are superbly located 500m from the beach and the view of the mountain when one opens the door to the balcony was amazing. I will stay at the Amalfi again. Nice rooms. We felt that Amalfi was good value for money and would recommend it - we enjoyed the atmosphere and on 2 occasions a delicious breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. the place where it is situated is extremely beautiful and the facilities that were provided to us were commendable. Most of all the restaurant was superb. Staff were extremely helpful, cheerful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Room was comfortable and spotless. Outstanding value for money!!!!. The staff were very helpful in providing different room than the one we booked and also provided maid service which we did not expect. I liked that there was the KOS Restaurant in the entrance where we could have breakfast. Good security and free parking. Everything I needed was there, and when there was a problem, the staff attended to it immediately in a friendly way. The location of amalfi suites was nice,restaurants, supermarkets etc. The rooms were nice and clean and very bright. I absolutely loved the design of the room, it was cosy yet spacious. I had a great stay wish I could stay longer!!!. Really good value for money at a time when most Cape Town hotels/apartments push their prices through the roof. Tea/coffee wasn't replaced during our stay (4 days) but it is self catering so to be expected I guess. Parking is very limited. The first night, we parked next door in a business parking lot, where if we didn't move the car by 8am, the tires could get clamped. The gated parking lot is very small, and not easy to navigate, when full. Bathroom was a problem as the shower flooded out the bathroom and kitchen. Not really equipped for self catering with only a microwave. None. I had called the hotel to let them know that we needed transport from the airport to the hotel, as we would land in Cape Town late. But the driver they had called never showed up. I understood then that the hotel does not organize transfers. More, I would have wanted a room facing the sea, but we had a street view. There are no halal stores close by or atleast we didn't find any... The shower door is half open so the water does flood after having a shower... There was nothing we did not like. Considering what we were paying. Nothing comes to mind - we have a pleasant stay. The room smelled a bit stuffy and damp (after a week of rain). One bedside light did not work. Bedding and towels are okay (just). TV reception not great on all channels (and no remote). Maid came very early (9am) knocking on the door, and there was no do-not- disturb sign. we could have used a couple of forks in the suite since take-aways often require a knife and fork. sitting capacity in washroom was quite small. Nothing really! I had a fantastic time. Re this survey. I wanted to rate all of question 2 as high as possible but there was nothing against the 'buttons' to say if each button was Satisfactory Good Average etc etc. While I was there they had an issue with the internet , hence no available WIFI . I lack of chairs on the balcony. The noise in the morning from the traffic and from the building going on at the checkers. Beds were too narrow to sleep comfortably in 2. The elevator dings very loudly so if you have late or early travellers, it wakes you up. Parking was a nightmare. Also, a chair on the balcony whould have been nice. I stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment on the top floor. No two-point plugs for hairdryer provided. No tv remote. Blinds in room 207 very damaged...need to be replaced!. The decor is not a strong point but sufficient. The broken blinds the leaking shower and the noisy fridge. A missing access hatch cover in the wall. My stay was too short......... Furniture on balcony in terrible state - no table. Balcony not cleaned. No receptacle for microwave oven. TV reception terrible. Parking was a problem if you came back later in the evening. Shower-bath leaked badly. To get sea view room is uncertain and they have only 2/3 sea view rooms. Sometimes they forgot to leave soap, shampoo, milk and sugar in the room. After 5 pm it was impossible to use computer facilities in the lobby. We had a problem with the tv. staff said there is 8 channels but we only could get TV3 and Mnet. We really would like to get TV2 and some of the DSTV channels. It was only snow on the other channels. The floors are not cleaned properly. No remote for TV. Not a big problem but was a little noisy, but could shut off the noise with closing the terrace door. Understandably this is a main thoroughfare on Seapoint Cape Town so you will get noise but not a big problem.
