  We have just returned home from a week skiing in the resort of Vogel and it was truly a marvelous holiday - thanks to the location and accommodation at the Alpik Apartments in Ukanc.   I put maximum points to this hotel - we really enjoyed everything staying there! A small side-trip from the main highway (we travelled by car) - and we found ourselves in absolutely amazing location. Everything is brand new, shining clean, the staff very friendly, good breakfast. One of the other plesant things were that soon after booking the hotel contacted me and offered 2-room apartm - The service was excellent and the evening meals very good with the chef coming out to see us as we were eating to ask what we thought of the meal. The staff behind the reception were really helpful suggesting places for us to visit which were better than anything I had found in the numerous books I had bought on the area. And the bikes were free to use. We were able to expend lots of energy to make up for the enormous meals we ate in the evening.
