We arrived at the hotel about 11 pm and check in was a breeze. We were hungry and so the receptionist told us our best options for food and even gave up the number for McDonald’s delivery – my son was on a McD’s diet ☺ We were amazed when we opened the door to our room. It was the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in, considering it wasn’t a suite. Omg. My son thought it was too empty and had too much space: I thought it was absolutely divine, and crisp. I like the room which is very spacious, bed are big n comfortable to sleep on, extra pillow n blanket are given. Housekeeping svc are fast n efficient. Room rate are acceptable, not too ex, n is affordable. The hotel is located in a quiet area and close to bus station. It is easy to get taxi in front of hotel. Reception staffs are friendly, professional, and very helpful. Concierge staff are dedicated, friendly, very helpful. RELC is budget hotel and convenience. Room and lift lobby are large. The majority of the housekeeping staff and the reception are extremely helpful. They listened to understand the situation and voluntarily offered services and information that will ease the situation for hotel guests. Its probably worth if you go with big family as the rooms are big and clean. But It shouldnt be more than 150sgd for the service in the hotel. like the room clean..comfort n spacious thanks to the staff at reception..helpfull n honest..they gave back my excess money. Great room size for Singapore. Convenient location, walkable to Orchard Road. location-near to Orchard Rd, easy public transportation. Room-clean and big. I like about the location of this hotel is near orchard rd. The lobby is quite small, and once you leave to go to the elevator to get to your room the décor is a bit shabby. However the corridors on the floors are nice and the lobby areas by the elevators are very nicely decorated. Limited facilities, relatively close to orchard road but is a climb uphill both to and fro, about 1km from Tanglin end. Cafe serves limited but tasty food, lunch till early dinner, no other options nearby. Transport abit of problem, if relc can arrange to have their own shuttle van svc to transport client to the nearest mrt would be good.food in cafe not so good. And also there is no room svc, we need to go down cafe to eat which is not convenient in our comfortable attire..... stark furniture in the room. None. The carpet was soaked next to the fridge/tea and coffee facilities and it was not a pleasent feeling on my feet. A bit far to walk to Orchard Rd. No armchair/couch in room. Breakfast not included. - No food served after 8pm! - At times difficult to get taxi - The mini market. it was a bit far from the airport, it did have a breakfast option but the food was ok.good enough. Fitness room did not have much equipment, no tv to watch while working out and no towels to clean up the equipment before/after. Not many English speaking tv channels and I was there for 5 nights on business. Not enough furniture (wanted to iron my clothes and I had to go to floor n°10 to do it ...). Was hoping a bit more for the price I paid ... Unfortunately I stayed during the worst haze in 15-years history, thus didn't get to enjoy much of the the hotel. Also the bed is a bit low, and not too comfortable. Far from bus or metro station 25min walk,noisy air condition. A little bit far from the mrt. They should atleast provide a shuttle going to orchard road. No swimming pool. the lift was so slow and need to add another one. Far from MRT station. Too far for walk to Orchard road. Limited option for breakfast. It is about 15 minutes walking to nearest bus station and about 25 min from nearest MRT (metro) in humid and hot days it is absolutely not ok. Smell of smoke in rooms and no face towels. Bed covers need to be replaced. Inefficient internet connection, required reloading password very often. Only the location I dun like..coz very far to find food.. nothing - everything was acceptable for this level of hotel. nothing. Lack of staff service especially at the reception area. Toilet don't have water tap & bidet sprayer, if can improve it, will make more convenience to customer. The room was big but only one chair by the desk not even a sofa for relaxing or invite a friend to chat in the room!. The thin wall, made neighbour noise so easily heard. The facilities are rather old. AC is noisy. Lifts are slow. Walking way from road to lobby is narrow and confused. Cleaning staffs are rather noisy talking at work. 1. The iron on level 10 needs to be replaced - the external material wrap is broken and the plastic wirings are exposed. The iron does not work well. 2. the lax enforcement of no-smoking in the room. Its too expensive for the rates I Paid. Theres no room service, you cannot order anything in room. Breakfast served in morning was most of time empty. Also though it is middle of shopping district. Because it is in a corner, you dont get taxi's easily. nothin. Breakfast was really poor quality: cold eggs, sweetened juice, stale coffee, poor service. Hotel-no eateries/lounge. breakfast is poor variety.
