Hostel itself: traditional shophouse, but greatly renovated with modern style and comfort. Electronic access to the front door, rooms and lockers in the rooms (lockers are really huge, may easily accommodate suitcase or 75litres backpack in there!). Rooms clean though small. Beds comfortable, conveniently goes with small personal shelf, lightings and socket just by the bed. Toilet and showers are separated, clean and modern - just as on pictures! Location: entrance from boat quay, easy leisure .
所有评语 » I stayed here in the Hostel with my Auntie yesterday morning(24th May 2013) until this morning(25th May 2013), I am so happy that they actually let us check in at 630am considering that check in time was 3pm(or2pm) :) but still the guy in the reception accommodated us & is very friendly to tour me(coz my auntie is already tired) around the place. I fell inlove with the view when we reach the Terrace :) overlooking Marina Bay Sands & the Singapore River(coolness). The place is very near . We enjoyed the excellent location of this hostel at Boat Quay. The young staff were welcoming and happy to answer our questions. Maxwell Food centre was recommended and it was a great find. This is a 15 min walk away, or a short trip on the MRT to Chinatown. The walk to Clarke Quay MRT is 5 min away. It is a 10 min walk to Lau Pa Sat Food Centre. We had a triple room for 2 of us using the bottom single bed for our gear. The mattress and pillows were clean and firm. Remember most rooms are small. The staffs are so nice and helpful. The room itself is small (which is common with hostels) and no window, but it has sufficient light plus the wall and the bed are white so it brightens up the room. The inn is on the perfect spot by the river, surrounded by nice restaurants and just a few minutes walking from Clarke Quay. The female bathroom has sufficient spaces so no long queue and it's kept clean. To top it all, the management sent me a thank-you email because I filled in their review/evalu. Close to clarke quay and MRT. Very clean and relaxing hostel. Shared but clean bathroom and toilets. Free coffee and water at lovely river view terrace all day. Wifi connection is quite good and reachable from anywhere in hostel area. Bread, butter, jam and peanut butter breakfast with coffee selections will be your breakfast. If you are looking for mid range price accommodation with relaxing atmosphere this one is just for you. You can enjoy the view of Marina Bay Sands and flyer sitting on te. - Located in centre of bar & restaurant, just 20 mins walk to Merlion, Marina Bay, Garden by the Bay - Very new room and comfy bed (think bed sheet) - Nice breakfast with bread, jam, milk, and fruits - 24 hrs coffee, cocoa, and tea (recommended to try) - Restrooms and shower room for female only - Free wifi and well-functioned computers in reception area - Friendly staff who explained the walking route. 5footway.inn amazing. Check-in process was quick. Rooms are small but very clean and tidy .. Many of the bathroom and it was very clean .. The breakfast area is pleasant with a terrace overlooking the river directly to singapore .. Located in the city center of Singapore ..... very strategic .. I would recommend this hostel to everyone who needs a cheap lodging in the best location in singapore. Renovated from two storey old shop lot. This contemporary hostel have clean rooms with sufficient facilities. Breakfast and filtered water provided. Location is excellent as near to Clarke Quay and 5-10 minutes walk to Clarke Quay MRT station. The hostel is located within bar and food area. On top floor, there is a balcony where you can have great view of Marina Bay Sands Fullerton hotel. 1) Staffs are very very good , service minded and helpful more than normally routine : Shumin, William, Yong Han, Ghani , Maya and Hoon. No matter what happened, they can carry on , patient and keep smile. 2) Location is perfect, you can go any tourist attraction easily. 3) New facilities and super clean and hygienic 4) Nice view from the loft, u can see the view of Singapore river. - fantastic location: in the old port, 100 m from finantial district, 5 min walk from the most famous places in Singapur - view from balconies like from a 5 star hotel in Singapur - lots of restaurants with sea food, pubs, also close to cheap Chineese eateries - clean, - very friendly and helpful staff - free coffee, water, hot chocolate at any time - hot showers. Prime location, galery inside the hostel, Gunny our friendly reception guy, possibility to buy our own drinks & food outside and enjoy it at amazing terrace with the view on skyline. Clean sheets and complimentory towels, breakfast is included in the price. View from the terrace is amazing, and there simply isn't better location in Singapore. Very friendly staff. Great Location in the center. Modern style hostel.Wifi is good. I stayed one time in standard and one time in superior 4 people room. Both rooms are nice, but if u like a window in ur room, better choose the superior one. The cleanness of the the bath and toilets was fine, not like other people said. I can only recommend it. very nice place with lots of charming corners that i'm sure will suit everyone. nice view at night with the marina bay sands peeking from the horizon when you are at the terrace. the reading corner(or at least that's what i call it) with the swing is really nice too. beautifully designed place. the room is quite big too with secured lockers. The price is very cheep, and everything here is perfect. I like the free cafe machine, very very nice~ Originally I booked a three-in room, and they then changed it into a double room, and without any further charge! so great! I will definitely choose this place again and again!. Maybe if there's 1 thing that I didn't like well maybe not that I really didn't like :) maybe just improvement on the Signage outside as we just had a difficult time to locate the hostel early in the morning, & oh maybe just add a small table in the room & 1 chair maybe :). Every now and then there was a bit of noise e.g. at 2.30am due to drilling next door. The cleanliness of the toilets was mostly good but every now and then it could have been better. To be honest some of the guests themselves are not very clean. The inn has a lot of stairs which can be quite a challenge for someone who has a big suitcase like me. The management could consider adding a separation on the lobby to the female bathroom to increase the privacy. no elevator and a bit noisy at nights. - Noisy. People in the bar area either sing karaoke, drink, or talk all night. Noise from footsteps in stairway. Nothing at all !!. Bathroom and toilet a bit far from my room and the finding ways is tough at first as the layout is like a maze. Some toilet is smelly and don't seems to be clean. Breakfast needs to be improved. Nothing I can say. Other staff needed some time to notice that we stay infront of them at the reception. We needed to pay everything even before we have seen rooms. We have asked one girl from reception if we could leave our postcards there, she said no. We walked half the city to find post office, just to notice there actually is a postbox opposite the reception in hostel after we returned. Too quiet all in all. Paying 2 Sing dollars for a towel is not much, but still its something that bothers you. It should rather be included in the the total price. So please increase the the room price by 2 dollars and nobody will complain. noise level is quite high, you might need to bring ear plugs. toilet is not always clean. shower area should have mats, it was always wet. it also has a very strong urine smell. if there's one thing this place needs to improve is the cleanliness of the toilet and shower. Breakfast is really poor- cornflakes, toasts with jam or peanuts butter ony. But it was announced. Room without window and smaller but it is not my const. Welcome in Singapore. :-) or go to Hong Kong and find similar room. :-). The are a lot of little stairs everywhere, it seems like a labyrinth, so if you have some trouble with stairs don't choose this hostel. Very small rooms, but we didn't pay for more. Simple breakfast. a little noisy. cleanliness is good but still need more concern. The female twin standard room is small and has no window; most of all it smells really weird and I had spray some perfume everyday to offset the smell. AC is right on top of the bed which can make it hard for you to fall asleep. Shared bathroom is clean enough, but it can be improved. The toilet is clean but for the female bathroom, I felt very smely because the busbbin problem.. I hope hotel can solve this problem!. a little expensive for hostel. the bathroom's smell not good and not too clean please clean at least every 3 times a day. Why pay so much to USE a towel?. Room is tiny ( we had private), stairs are hard with luggage, boring breakfast. Shower room , female shower room is located near the lobby which has not much privacy and many facilities in shower room are out of service or broken, and no one is going to fix them or maintain , shower heater is not hot enough very cold. No elevator and corridors are narrow due to the structure of the building . The only thing is that you have to share bathroom and the breakfast is quite basic. - you can only sleep well between 2am and 7am, that is when everybody is in their room. Access to your room is thru a magnetic card which beeps EVERY time someone enters his/her room. So around 11pm or 8am, you have the impression you are in a McDonald restaurant, with beeps going off all the time, loud like an alarmclock. detail: it's just a question of programming to silence the damn thing! - the beds are short. not to be recommended for anybody taller than 6ft. no lift small room more attention for cleanness bathroom-shared quite noisy. Bathrooms were not very clean. A friend complained that there was not toilet paper in the women´s room. Missing windows in some rooms. Our room had no window and someone next building was drilling a wall after midnight. Walls are not thick enough and you hear next room's guests snoring. Destroyed aircon was leaking. Dirty showers. - The toilet so stink, please provide wet toilet and it will be perfect. - to noise if there is people running. - No hostel atmosphere. - Few interaction between staff and customers. The toilet and shower room should be more clean. Very small rooms without windows. It was super noisy during the night and early morning because noise of people going going in hall way all night, the noise of slamming the doors, people chatting and laughing. I think the Inn should put some sign in the hall way and in the toilet doors like "be quiet/ gentle after 11pm". I couldn't have a good sleep in the 4 days staying in the Inn.
