  The hotel is small and cosy, luxury and sleek nonetheless. Though its very modern, I love it that the hotel still retains part of its historical background through the architecture, naming of its spaces and waterfront experience.   The eco-friendly design is really unique and tastefully done. We been to Crown Plaza Hotel recently who also adopt Eco-friendly design but we would say ParkRoyal design is more impressive. Room was fresh and clean, bed comfortable, airconditioner quiet, shower hot and direct, lovely view and no street noise. Pool has the wow factor. Breakfast spoilt for choice, relaxed and plentiful. On our return we have talked to our family and friends about the young luggage assistant who went well beyond good service to assist us with our transfer to the boat. He made the stay for great to memorable.

Formerly a historic Chinese Opera house/opium den/brothel, it has been converted to retain as much of the original ambiance as possible.
