  Staff was so nice,attentive and helpful. Check in and out was fast and easy, no waitings. No deposits at check in. Room (Mallorca) was very nice, cute and comfy. It was on the first floor with the views into the garden, where the outside terrace are in summer times. Fast wi fi for free, complimentery 2 bottles of water, c - The hotel is a splendid old house in a very quiet area. Our room was very large and comfortable. The buffet breakfast (included) was excellent as was the restaurant in the evenings. However, the best feature of the hotel was the staff - friendly, helpful, and with fluent English. My wife found the bed a little too soft for her back - housekeeping quickly set up a mattress on the floor which solved the problem. In short - highly recommended.

  Excellent location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and facilities. We appreciated iron and desk in our room, so as heated floor in the bathroom. Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

  The staff was very helpful. They spoke very good English and were able to help me with translation issues and directions. I had a room on the street side, which I was pleasantly surprised did not have much noise. The room was comfortable and clean. There were a couple of English speaking channels on the TV. I will stay at this hotel on my next visit. - I really appreciated the outstanding service that that the staff offered to us. While there, I had my passport stolen by a pickpocket on a bus and Svetlana, a staff member, took us to the police station and assisted us by acting as a translator. While enroute to the station, she gave us a running commnentary on the sights in St. Petersburg. The food in the two hotel resturants were excellent, but the one called Marius had more choices.

  A nice new hotel close to a huge shopping mall and metro station. The hotel is very nice and quiet, breakfast was fantastic. They also have a well-equipped fitness studio. Staff was friendly, however security personnel will never smile or say hi, perhaps they're just taking their job too seriously.   The hotel is maybe not what you expect from 4 stars in Western Europe but for the price and service, I think it is a good deal. We had an executive room (note that minibar is not free in executive and standard rooms - unlike stated below) which was large and spacious, and very clean. In addition, there is a closet for your clothes with plenty of hangers, an iron board and - The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. The breakfast was included in the room and the breakfast was buffet style, with a very large and fresh choice of foods, and they would make eggs / omelettes if requested.
