Excellent location and view from the room window, authentic spirit of St Petersburg, friendly staff, good restaurant and good menu, "5 o'clock tea" at the mezonin looks very nice, exciting library with a plenty of selected books worthy-to-read, many paintings on th walls with the opportunity to see or to buy, healthy food choice in breakfast box on early departure
Rooms can be cleaned better. Spa personnel does not look professional, can not sell existing facilities (hammam, sauna) and treatments

The best thing about this hotel is the attitude of its staff. Very polite, attentive and always ready to help. It is not ordinary for the Russia.

I selected the hotel based on positive reviews, but I was little disappointed. I did not use spa, so can comment only rooms and restaurant. - Location was good - Price reasonable - Breakfast selection fair
- Smell from bathroom, that made the stay in the room unpleasant - Unbelievable to let people smoke during breakfast. There was part of the restaurant "non smoking", but it was one open space, so the smoke was everywhere. Eating was impossible. Due to the smell in both room and restarant during brekafast I will never go to this hotel again.
Location, room, view, design!
No tv programs to choose from I.e no music channels, no international channels. No necessities to make coffee or tea in the room. Had only hot water for shower but once we informed the receptionist they fixed it immediately!
