  Our apartment was on Malaya Morskaya Street, 16, it was very clean and had all the house things you need, from bedsheets towels soups shampo, all kitchen needs, the internetnet was free of charge and very good connection, the location is 5 min walk to the hermitage and other tourist areas which was great.   Traditional hotel from old times but well modernized and maintained. Fairly comparable with western business hotels. Good location next to underground station. We were given a junior suite by price of standard twin due to booking situation and arrival at 19:30 so can't review normal room but suite was excellent.   Nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Best loacation, everything you need (sights, shops, cafes, railroad and bus stations etc) is near or takes not more than 10-15 min walk. Good word for water in hotel: water is ok, no smell, though when you turn tap, you should wait about 15 sec to get hot water out of it.   The past reviews are exactly as it is. The apartment we had was roomy, very quiet, well equipped and clean enough. It is in a safe area. Beware that 60% of the aparts in St Petersbourg have no private bathrooms and kitchens, but this one does!
