  As soon as I arrived, the receptionist (who helped me) spoke very good english and showed me my room. This made me feel at home straight away, as my russian is beginner level and quite poor.   Friendly and easy going place - we had a private room with shared showers and toilet which were spotlessly clean. By Moscow standards very good value, and we appreciated the free secure baggage storage room. It even has a currency exchange machine with better rates than the on street exchanges. As we were travelling the next day it was essential to get our visas registered and we expected to pay - 600 rouble - The staff couldn't have been nicer. The facilities were very nice (much nicer than I expected in a hostel) and it was so well priced. Right around the corner from a huge police precinct, so it's also very safe.
