  We found the villa, grounds and decor to be elegant and the staff very courteous, friendly and helpful.   We stayed in this hotel for a football match (Cluj v Chelsea), the staff were excellent, when we arrived at Cluj airport the taxi's wanted 100 Lei (fare should have been 20 Lei), we contacted the hotel and they sent the barman out to collect us. - The staff is excelent and all the services are also very good.

We were very pleased with the Hotel Beyfin. It is a modern hotel with all of the amenities to make it first rate. The location is on a busy street, but you do not notice the noise once inside. The staff is wonderful and we had a beautiful view of the church and music hall from our room. Yes its a hotel made to seem like a counts mansion, and yes it has real bear skins, stuffed animals, towers and ramparts, but it is more tastefully decorated than we expected. Its fun, its luxurious and it is certainly value for money.   Its a very good looking hotel, with modern design. Very clean and quiet room with a big double bed. The staff was polite and helpful although they speak Romanian with a local accent. The restaurant is also good, serving both Romanian and international dishes and the breakfast buffet was quite wide-ranged.   Excellent location at the centre of Kolozsvár. (approx 100 m from the main square). Parking facility of the hotel was a real asset in the centre. The rooms are nice and clean. Free WiFi. Staff speaks English and Hungarian.There is a restaurant in the courtyard, but closes at 10 PM, so not noisy at night.
