Stay was excellent. The bicycle I borrowed was especially useful. Though, you should advise anyone cycling up to the university that if the department has a locked space to put bicycles during the day, then your guest should use it.

The flybybus drops you right at the front door, if coming to Bergen by air, and only a 20 minute walk to the station.
The room was very well appointed. The breakfast had a wide range from which to choose. 5 minutes from the fjord cruise boats.

A large first floor room stays open all day with complimentary coffee, tea, and fruit and a limited menu. Breakfast is fabulous. Whimsical light fixtures in the rooms add a nice touch.
