Hotel staff extremely helpful, and always had a great smile! Great location, very good facilities and excellent value for money relative to other options in Svalbard. It is also quite new, so it really feels like a high-class option... I highly recommend!. Very nice hotel, a touch of warmth in very cold Longyearbyen. Clean, decent breakfast, nice rooms, friendly staff, handy access code system; a near-perfect balance between quality and a good price. With friendly staff and free coffee as a bonus.

The staff were fantastically helpful and the whole hotel is ideal for the type of holiday people who would choose Svalbard as a holiday destination would expect - low key, clean, and environmentally friendly. Lovely little hotel, great location bang in the middle of Longyearbyen. Friendly, helpful staff, good facilities and the heated floor in the bathroom was amazing!. A very cozy nice hotel with comfortable rooms, we loved it! Also we really enjoyed the free coffee in the reception and the very helpful staff. I went in winter and great location, cool good sized rooms, heated bath floors! and all day coffee/tea... Really good buffet B'fast too. Nice hotel and would stay there again. Breakfast is served at a different house, but it didn't matter as the breakfast was amazing. Good hotel. Clean tidy and great staff. Right in the town too. It is a clean hotel of modern design and on the cheaper side when comparing with other Hotels in Longyearbyen. Located in the centre of Longyearbyen Really comfortable with effective blinds against the 24h daylight. The place in perfect for any stay in Longyearbyen - both business and hollidays. Missing svalbard :(. Everything was good. The location is very good. In the middle of Longyearbyen. Restaurants close-by. 5 mins walk from the Svalbard Museum. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Bed was two singles rather than a double, but we weren't too bothered by this. Hard to mention anything negative. Nothing. Breakfast was excellent, but you have to pop down the road to Svalbard Lodge for it. Not too much of a problem though, just had to get the outer gear on to go out. At breakfast there were some time lack of plates and cutlery. although the staff was great they lacked a bit on follow up about activities. Plus they seemed to just go online like we could to get info when seeking more detailed info. The reception closes a bit too early, if I remember correctly it was around 4pm. Also single bed size could be a bit bigger, I had to watch out that I wouldn't drop from it.. but that's only as I've used to sleep on 120cm bed. The reception closes at 20:00. Arrive at 20:05 and only an envelope with your key will be waiting for you. Nothing!. While I booked specifically for the Svalbard Hotell, the staff attempted to relocate my room across the street at their apartments but the reviews say they are much noisier. I objected and they honored the reservation at the hotel. Breakfasts were rather lacking in choice, meagre and could be a lot better, and get very dull if you are there several days. No face flannel provided. No food in hotel, but ok breafast just across the street. . Beds too narrow and move too io. Curtains in the bedroom don't obscure completely, making the sleep a bit difficult in Summer for light sleepers. No bidet in the bathroom. Prices - but everything in Norway is super expensive!. Breakfast is in another building, but that's not too bad. Cancellation/ Rebooking policy is the most inflexible in Svarlbard. Do not use this hotel if your plans could possibly change. Internet wifi was really bad during my stay. I didn't complain about it to the staff, though. Small beds. Curtains don't close properly, still some light coming in (annoying in summer time, as it doesn't get dark!) Could hear the neighbors talk through the air-conditioning canals...
