Central Location near the harbour, nice staff and the breakfast was also good. Easy walk into the main part of town and the small central shopping mall. The Hotel is located in and above a small mall with a shop for snacks etc without going outside. Ferry and rail terminal close by, taxi from the airport varies in price expect between 120 - 135 NOK. Check local bus as it stops near the hotel from the airport. Book early as the Hotels in the area are very busy.

Value for money is subjective as the Hotel is close to the other Hotel prices in the town. restaurant staff were struggling to meet demands on Saturday at breakfast due to: not enough staff as lots of customers turned up at the same time coffee running out as nespresso machine needed water and the brewed coffee came in a too small coffee jug (asked for help four times, also assisted others so nice athmosphere) staff worked very hard and did their best. the shower curtain was a bit short so water splattered over the floor. Building works next to hotel make access a little difficult and can affect some views but otherwise no noise or disruption. Limited range in restaurant but many choices nearby. Room didn't seem very soundproof; constant sounds of normal movement carried from other rooms. Bathroom appeared in need of refurbishment. No hot water for shower in the morning,. We got a room on the 3rd floor which was really outdated from the 1980s. Apparently it is one of a few floors which hadn't been updated yet. I liked everything. Is it allowed to dislke nothing ?. All was good. There was a lot of building work going on around the hotel. Rain. Curtain in the shower (horrible thing) Cheap bathtub in the shower Saving showerhead + bad functioning shower. Batteries in Remote Control didn't work (but receptionist fixed when I complained) Coffee machine didn't work (but recepetionist fixed it when I complained) The bread in the restaurant was Cold and dry! The other bread was the cheapest kind there is (kneippbrød). Taxi information. No wifi in the rooms. At all. Top floor had rubbish smell from store rooms. Twin beds. Get up and go breakfast. No internet No television Breakfast not available for customers requiring early flights Very poor value for money considering the rates charged.
