This motel offered excellent value for money. The studio room was well appointed with a kitchenette, cooktop and microwave, dining area, king and single bed and a large bathroom. The motel was very quiet with little noise from adjoining rooms. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this motel for those wanting a simple, inexpensive room in Wanaka. We were only there for one night and totally enjoyed the stay and the township. It was very relaxing after the hurly burly of Queenstown, Cromwell, Alexandra, Arrowtown and the Crown Range in the previous 2 days. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and very apologetic when we were handed cencus form to be completed.
所有评语 » This was our favourite motel on a 10 day NZ trip. Our unit - no 9- was in a block of 4 which were recessed so there was maximum privacy including a small outdoor area at the back. Also it had the best shower - very strong water pressure. Such a reasonable price too and we appreciated being upgraded to a 1 bedroom unit. We were very impressed with the excellent 'front of house manner'of the lady at Reception. She was very friendly and helpful and even hung up our washing so we could go and enjoy our day and not wait for the wash to finish! That's service for you and definitely beyond the call of duty!. A very nice motel with excellent facilities, very well equipped and just out of town in a quiet area. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Free WiFi is provided, which is really good. We were upgraded to a larger unit with separate lounge and kitchen. Fantastic value. I found the reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfy and it was very handy to have the ski drying room next door! I loved my stay here, would definately come again, and would definately recommend it! Thank you!!. Our room has been upgrade and it was so big and comfortable. I really like this place and it is not far from town centre at all so it is easy to go to the restaurant or shopping. The motel situation is in a quiet residential area, but only a few minutes by car to the town centre. This motel is excellent value for money. Friendly, helpful staff. Apartment spacious, clean and modern bathroom. Full kitchen facilities Quiet location, a little outside the city center (2 km). We had 4 nights, it would be unable to continue... The first room was great, clean comfortable and relaxing. We liked the fact that they are ground floor units. Really sunny, and spotlessly clean. Big fluffy towels!. Every details has been taken care of. This motel could be a little too far from town for those without their own transport. How could you not like this establishment?. Nothing. The only fault was that the double bed was a bit old and sagged in the middle. My room didn't have a bath which would have been nice after 5 days of ski training. Not a major though. Can't think of anything. Everything was fine :). Could hear everything going on in next room. Thankfully their guests left promptly at 10 pm. That time didn,t permit to staying longer ,. That our stay was so short due to out time we had. Nothing, the best value for money motel in our 2 weeks of travelling. Nothing. The second room, 12, we found to be a bit claustrophobic with the tele and wardrobe stand so close to the bed. We found the mould and dirt around the aluminium windows and doors was offputting. The side table and lamps was very dusty. Ceiling fans would be a nice touch on the hotter days, esp in the bedroom. Nothing. We had difficulty finding the address as the street names are sooo small, especially at night. That is a problem for the council I think. nothing. nothing - all good. little bit old little far from the lake. Nothing comes to mind. Tucked away in suburban street some distance from the toen centre and any other services. Little way out from towncentre but not a problem if you have a car. "Free" WiFi is restricted with a download limit and requires repeated login. Kitchen cooking facilities were limited, only 2 hotplates on a portable unit & electric frypan, old microwave. Only 2 saucepans. Old style TV. Ski room ineffectual for drying. Nothing. A little walk to town but enjoyed a stroll along the lake. Nothing. Their website should have better directions for finding the motel. We wasted a lot of time in Wanaka just finding it. Poor sound proofing. It didn't bother us but if you wanted to be close to restaurants and the town centre you need a car. If your neighbor guest is noisy, you may find it hard to sleep since the common wall and floor is made of wood which hardly provides any isolation to the sound.
