  Charles, the owner, was extremely attentive and helpful. He made us most welcome and wanted to make our stay as comfortable and as memorable as possible. He gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The peaceful location was excellent for getting to all the major attractions.   The owner, Jan, was extremely helpful, polite and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. He personally welcomed us to the apartment despite arriving in the middle of the night. He had already put some beers in the fridge for us and sorted our car out for parking. We cannot wait to go back! - our place was comfort and we had access to whatever we need there. The place was calm, neat and the host was sociable. The apartment was equipped with 2 sets of TVs, laundry, iron and cooking appliances. It was not far from to the city center (DAM Square) about 25 min walking We appreciate the landlord again for his favor to help us carry our suitcases to the central train station with his car on the last day.

  I certainly recommend this place as an excellent base for exploring the city of Amsterdam, whilst being able to retreat to a nice peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle.
