  Frankly, it was the best choise I have ever made. &Quot;House of Amstel" is very central in terms of location, you can find the place very easily just a few minutes of walking from Dam Sqaure, it is actually at the intersection of several busy streets such as Damrak and Amstel ; it's called Muntplein. You can - We were met at the apartments by Kai who explained everything for us and gave us some great tips on things to do whilst we were there. The apartments were very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. It was located a few minutes from Dam Square, one of the main attractions in Amsterdam. There was a great view of the river Amstel from the apartment windows with all the boats passing by at regular intervals.

  I liked how welcome we were on arrival the hospitality was very good also the beers and wine provided. Nice touch - Paul is a great guy to work with and the house boat was one of the hi-lights of our trip.

  I certainly recommend this place as an excellent base for exploring the city of Amsterdam, whilst being able to retreat to a nice peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle.   The setup, cleanliness, friendliness and the fact there were only 2 studio apartments. Not noisy as a result.   I loved the whole idea of staying on a ship. The location was great as well, just a 5-10 minute walk to the Central Station area.
