  The owner, Barbara gave us a warm welcoming feeling to her home n providing us w many good tips ard. V good wifi!! The place is clean, v comfortable and we had a very privacy room. It had a private entrance back to the room too.. Bus/tram seem to be jus at the door step. Direct bus from the airport. the centrum is walking dis - The staff was excellent. This is a small run operation but they were helpful and made us feel very welcome. Room is quite simple with a funny little shower off the kitchen (and the toilet behind that!) but it was clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a great location. Great for a couple looking for a quiet location to relax and be out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Amsterdam. This was a great area to stay to check out the trendy Jordaan, nine streets, and night club district.

  La Remise was a wonderful place to stay for our two days in Amsterdam. Breakfast was delicious and made to order each morning. The owner was incredibly hospitable and helpful in directing us to sights and restaurants within the city. We would highly recommend La Remise to any travelers wishing to vacation, yet feel like a local. Would most certainly stay at La Remis - La Remise is in a quiet street but close to all the activities. The well designed room/bathroom was 'roomy', warm and very comfortable and the served morning breakfast set us up for the day.Our charming host was very helpful: offering advice on places to visit or where to go to eat. I/we would recommend this place to couples. La Remise is quite special.

  Good location, clean, friendly,good value. - Hettie was very nice. The bed was comfortable, very hot water and good pressure, and had everything you needed. Bottle of wine the first night was a nice touch! Close to everything in Zandvoort! Nice to have brochures on a rack downstairs regarding things to do and even coupons for a few things.
