  Very old world and full of personality. Staff was fantastic and very helpful. Food is wonderful, not run of the mill hotel menu. Hotel is on quiet canal, although right downtown.   物超所值 - everything! the service was excellent from the time we stepped through the doors. the location is central in a beautiful residential part of amsterdam, easily accessible to all must see tourist attractions, yet located safely away a few minutes from the hubbub with beautiful views. great bar, breakfast buffet or room service, dinner for ... 别人怎么说 » dining in (but who wants to/no reflection on the chef) - Everyone was very accommodating to our needs and requests. Easy to use the tram system that was not too far from the hotel. Close in proximity to where we needed to go for the Amsterdam maraton.
