The staff was wonderful. Our refridgerator had a problem but they came within minutes to correct. We blew a fuse at 5 in the morning and again there in minutes to fix. It is about a 15 minute walk with bags from the central train station and 60 feet from Dam Square. You would expect the area to be noisy but we never heard anything! And it's not a big chain hotel!

Just amazing from all aspects. Most definitely the best apartment you can get at that price. Saskia (who owns the apt.) is available 24/7 - Super friendly. Location is superb!
