Breakfast is simple, but rich and sufficient. The homemade marmalades are delicious! The location is very good: close to the beach and short bike ride from the parks and the lighthouse. The bikes to rent are well kept and comfortable. The west side of the island is more appealing in terms of nature due to the dunes and various vegetation.
Very good breakfast buffet. free wifi very central for restaurants and shops in de Koog. Very friendly staff. Very large rooms, even with an extra bed placed in it.
hard to find a parking space, although the hotel has it's own parking lot it was usually fully occupied and the rest of the area as well.
Very nice and warm arean, big and clean rooms, Child friendly.
The location was good. Nearby the centre, just 20 meters or so.
- The staff. Sitting with bad mood on the bar judging paying guests. - The wooden floor at balcony was totally not straight. When I stepped on it it started to move. - The beds weren't good. Two matrasses for two persons isn't so nice for a honeymoon. - Minimum breakfast. Even at home i have more standing at the table. Also it wasn't allowed to take it to the room. The staff told us that we didnt do it right in the morning. We werent allowed to sit at the table that we wanted...
The location is absolutely perfect and breakfast was lovely although they charged us for kid’s breakfast 10euro per day in case for adults it was included in room rate!! Room was spacious.
Reception was closing at 10pm and bar-restaurant close, rooms had no tee-coffeemaker and no possibility to order something after that hour.

The location was not what I expected, the room was somewhat of a let down (no bath for instance) and the private terrace was all but private
Staff short and abrupt, not helpful at all.Bed sheets were not clean had hair on them and during the night we got bitten seriously by bed bugs which took a number of days to elimate. Not what you need when travelling.
