really great value! This hotel is thanks to near tram station (15 minutes to city center) ideal for Amstrodam exploring.... Good breakfast as well as room comfort.
Its not in the city center but if you dont care a few tram stops, dont care that point

Hospitable and respectful staff, clean, comfortable and quite rooms! Location is also very good. Hotel is in the Rai Area but You can go to downtown by train, tramway or bus in 15 minutes. I like that hotel very much!

staff service was 100% food was 100% everything in my book was great except one point
when i checked out they assured in had one night to pay for i was sure the 3 night stay had been taken on line and all i would have to pay was items i had used and taxes which would only apply if i turned up i have paid this and waiting on my statement to arrive from card company to see if i am being overcharged

The rooms are spacious enough and are very tidy. The breakfast is definately OK! The personel is very friendly and willing to help whenever you have an issue. To go into town: TRAM 4 gets you immediately where you want and is 5 steps outside the hotel
The isolation is not optimal as we heard the television of the room next to us (even in the second room where there was no door between the two rooms)
easy access to and from the City 15-20 min. Variuos transport links 200yds (5min walk) from hotel. Staff very pleasent and helpfull. very good buffet breakfast, you can eat as much as you like, and good selection of food
Just a suggestion, upon arrival it was -2/3degress outside it would have been nice to arrive to a warm room. the heating worked ok after being turned up, although it took a while being so cold outside. an electric blanket would have been nice as well, not to much to ask for being a 4 star hotel.

Good weekend rates, including a rich breakfast (which otherwise wouldhave been 20 Euro/person). Convenient location to/from the airport, afew minutes walk from rai Train Station, accross the street from AmstelPark, a pleasant recreational choice. Nice view from the higher floors.Decent bathroom, pretty new furniture.
Not all reception staff is properly trained - mostly youngest ones. Withone exception, none knew how to help making our stay more enjoyable, notto mention smile. The hotel is old, though they updated the rooms andthe corridors have an unpleasant smell. (I believe they will beconstructing a new one in 2009.) Bedsheets were not changed in 3 days..
