Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean room
We had a nice view on damrak street, comfortable beds
I liked the location of the hotel. It is very close to Amsterdam Central Station. Also, the beds were very comfortable in the room. The hotel staff was very polite and good.
There were not major problems about this hotel.

the thing i liked the most bout the hotel is the location is close to all the atractions amsterdam has to offer im 24 :) if ur coming from the airport no need to catch a cab just catch a train to centarl st and save 30 euro the staff is very helpfull especialy Ton very polite and helpfull bout the events that r hapnn in the city. the price is gr8 compare to the rest
the stairs is on a very high angle hard to walk up to the 4th floor with a 20kg sute case and hand lugage before they give u a key to the room ask not to be placet on level 4 but if u get a room on hat level make sure its not room numba 44 kinda smal has no veiw.another thing every room has smoke alarm (loud 1)if any one in hotel sets it off the whole hotel gets up imagine that at 3am lol but i was told every hotel in amsterdm has smoke alarms

The room was good, it was on the first floor next to reception and we liked it, we didn't heve to climb up to upper floors )) the room was clean and we had a view to Damrak street, no noises from outside, we could all sleep very well ))) the staff was very nice and helpfull ))
the breakfast was in the next door hotel and it was very very poor, but for cheap hotel price it was still ok )) it was very hot in the room, but we managed ))

Asked for commission for Visa payment. Some towels were teared out. They didn't made us room up the day before our leave.
Location near central station was very good.
Although typical of many Amsterdam hotels, the very steep staircases and no lift presented problems (with bad knee + luggage + 4th floor). Hotel and restaurant for breakfast were a bit difficult to find. Very low ceiling in room made it seem small. Plumbing in bath was very poor. Street noise was quite noticeable.

Our toilet and shower were outside our room - it was for private use for us but in convience to go outside to use it. No lift - we were on the second floor shiwch wasnt to bad but if you were higher it would be difficult with getting luggage up. If you have lots of luggage dont pick this hotel.

We were given a room on our first night where the toilet was across thecorridor - this was not mentioned in hotel description. The hoteldescription on the website was not accurate - hotel services not as goodas your site specified.

The first room was really very small the layout was very strange and not well thought out the room was the noisiest I have ever stayed in I have never experienced that level of noise the pipes in the room which were located over the bed rattled and banged everytime someone in another room used the water as there must have been an air lock in the pipes also the staircase was located over the bed!
It is a reasonable value for money hotel, if compared to the average Amsterdam level. Location is very good- just between Central Station and Dam.
As usual in Amsterdam, my pre-booked room was given away to someone else before my scheduled arrival. After half an hour dispute solution was found, but I had to change rooms during the stay. But as it was said earlier, it is normal in Amsterdam. You will get the same treatment also in the 5-star NH hotels. Therefore recommend to downgrade your expectations.
