Cheap, fairly clean, friendly staff (typical for Holland, I would say). 2 computers with free internet - can go online even if you didn't take your laptop or tablet. There are lockers in the rooms, but the locks are not provided - you can take your own, or rent one. Free city maps with various discount coupons are available at the reception. I cant rate this place enough!! i might be a bit further out of the city, but it is easy to get too & from. The staff were very helpful & friendly, even changed our rooms to a lower floor without us requesting it, one of the cleaner hostels I have stayed in.
所有评语 » Amigo Hostel is a true friend, help you out when you need. Clean, safe and it has good and big rooms with lockers. Doesn't have a kitchen yet but you can ask to use the microwave. Friendly vibes from the staff and guests. Good location away from the hectic center but easy tram location. Smaller so easier to meet people. friendly staff, good value, tram stop right outside the door. it is far from the city center but there are some benefits to that as well. Great staff, borrowed his own phone charger to me, tide and clean, nice guests too. Clean. Very nice price/quality ratio for hostel. Helpful and friendly stuff!. very clean, very comfortable beds, very friendly staff, fairly well located. I liked the service from the amigo staff, they offer 100% service :). The guys in the hostel were wonderful. They were all funny guys. :D. It was a clean friendly environment with helpful staff. staff was very friendly and it was very comfortable. People admistrator is very good, very good!. It was a good stay. room. Me and 7 mates stayed in the Budget Hostel for my 21st birthday last weekend, it was one of best weekends I've ever had. The hostel is exactly what you expect for the price. It cost us £35 for the whole weekend, so you can excuse the filth in the bathroom and having to share the bathroom with the whole floor. The beds are comfy enough. You spend hardly anytime in the room anyway, it's literally just for sleeping. The location isn't too bad as it's on the tram line, you can get the number 9 tram. The people were very nice and the atmosphere was very relaxed! The location was fantastic, the rooms were spacios and the TV was also good. Also the I loved the showers. This hostel was so cheap even if placed in Amsterdam. And receptionist was friendly!. The staff, price, atmosphere, location (proximity to the tram stop). the staffs are very nice and it's open for 24hours a day. The price was affordable and the rooms were spacious. I liked only the bed,it was really clean and comfortable.i didn't like anything else about this place There are many supermarkets in this area and some cheap eateries. - For amsterdam it was somehow cheap. The best price I could find. It was quite clean and the tram was just 50 meters away. It has a tram line that takes you to central station fast. Nothing. Do not stay hear. Turned up and they said my booking was not valid even tho I had booking conformation. Even after this they were the most unhelpful people I have ever met STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!. Staff members are busy but friendly. It was cheap. Nothing. The corridors are quite narrow, and some of the showers are very small, although not dirty. Don't forget to have a >10 eur banknote as a deposit for the key-card. Be also aware that for using a non-Dutch bank card you will be charged 5% more, so it is better to pay in cash. The number of power points provided is too limited and just gatherd at the door. there were no chairs or tables in the bedrooms and you can not go with a big suitcase because the stairways are terrible. There is no breakfast, but there are good reustaurant nearby. The stairs walking up to the hostel. Only one bedroom for one set of rooms - would be better to have at least more toilets available. The stairs were tall and dangurous, (but this is amsterdam). The room was not so clean, the floor was covered with some dust.. And sheets was not like to be used often, had some dust as well.. The super steep stairs, one shower/toilet for the entire floor, slow internet/wifi. the steps are really steep, really steep and the bathroom and the toilet are so tiny, that it is hard to turn around.besides, the place is a little bit far from town.... Location was kind of in the residential area so you need to take tram to go to the tourist attractions. Hidden charges (city tax, 5% of total price on top of what you paid when you arrive) Didn't get smoking room when specifically requested for one. Very slow wifi Staff did not have my reservation Mold growing on the wall in my room Not very clean bed linen. Extreme chaos in reservations (we ordered 4-bed room, we obtain a 7-bed room (why?) and after two days we were moved out to another room without any notification - very unpleasant surprise to come to our room and see all of our things gone, at least sms about the change would be nice) Very steep stairs (but it was very interesting, on the other hand :-)) Exteremely small toilets and broken showers (some of the "broken" showers actually work). Stairs are ridiculously steep Toilets on the hallway are very small Gets cold during the night. Small room without tables or chairs only beds in it Stairs are very sloped. They just sold a bed which was occupied and to my unlucky night, that was my friend's bed. Rooms are too small,The toilet was so tiny with even tinier sink,which makes you impossible to wash yourself (face,etc) Internet worked in the rooms so badly Reception is always busy. - The doublebed turned out to be 2 tiny beds - there were onyl these 2 beds in the room, no chair, no desk, not even a hanger... everything needs to be put on the floor. that's not very nice - it was too loud in the mornings, the walls are paperthin. They never clean the rooms and the hostel is poorly managed. They should take their job more seriously. They chage you rxtrs for using a credit card. Add bathrooms!. It's situated quite far from the city centre. There is only one toilet and shower for every 30 people. I left a lunchbox and a towel on my bed, and they dissapeared. I suppose, the cleaner took my stuff away, but the staff hasn't helped me to find it. Moreover, nothing is for free in the hostel, you will pay even for a cup of hot water. There is no kitchen. *The 5.5% Amsterdam tax which was not mentioned * The very steep stairs * No Lifts * Communual Shower/Toilet *. Its very far from the center. If u wanna go from the center it takes 25min by tram 9. Also the quality is low, but it is expected with the low price. There is a 5% addition to the fee if u pay by card. Smoke / bad shower facilities / crammed room. We had lots of luggage we had to drag up and down 4 flights of stairs. Very dirty Bathrooms , in general very dirty. Recepción are Turkish and very cubbish. Poor service, our reservation was cancelled and sold to the other people. Just because of they don`t know how to use credit cards in a right way.
