  I like how close it was to the Amstelveen bus station. Almost everything was a single bus or tram ride away. The simple breakfast was also a welcome bonus in the mornings. - Good location, nice apartment, it suited well my purposes, nice amenities like drinks, internet, the food for breakfast, etc. I'd come back if I had to.

You can have a glass of good wine on the terrace in the evening and watch the full moon reflecting in the watter just 3 meters in front of you. In the morning you can spend ages by waking yourself up by a mug of hot coffee and feeding the ducks with bread and you will have the feeling you can nearly touch them.
