This hotel and the people that run it are so professional, friendly, generous and accommodating. They genuinely want your stay in Nepal to be as easy and smooth as possible. They go well beyond the call of duty to make this happen. The rooms are clean and well presented, the roof top balcony is a lovely touch and the new meditation room looks beautiful! There is a restaurant attached for breakfast and any other meal which serves wonderful food. Basically I came as a customer and feel that after.
所有评语 » The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and had a western bathroom with a tub. The A/C worked and the TV had CNN. The location was perfect. Many restaurants nearby. The hotel's restaurant was good. The breakfast was a hot buffet that offered different items each day. Good Wi-Fi. ATM in the next building. The staff organized a driver for us to view the sites. Also organized a shuttle to the airport. We would stay again. The staff provide the service professionally, yet in a very friendly and warm way. They response quickly to any complain and request. The room was clean and is cleaned everyday. The location is perfect for a city tour. I only need a short walk along the lively Thamel Marg, and already in the Durbar Square or Garden of Dream. I also took a walking trip to Swayambunath during a strike day (no taxi or public transport). The roof top terrace was a pleasant escape where we were able to sit outside but far enough away from the noise of the street to relax. All the staff were exceptionally pleasant to us and made us feel very welcome. The location of the hotel was perfect to walk out the front door and be right in the middle of everything we needed. We would stay again without hesitation. Thanks to all the staff. I can say that this is a very good hotel in all terms (since I know more than 50 hotels accross Asia). People are friendly and can understand the particular needs of a traveler which is remarkable in that Thamel area heavily poluted with tourists. I was able to book all my local trips for a great price, arrange airport pick ups, add a day-stay, enjoy nice food, and feel very comfortable. we stayed for 5 nights. The staff came on strong at first but we realized that they did provide good side trips and suggestions for a fair price. We had a huge room so we could organize our stuff. We originally booked the first 2 days in kathmandu but due to an upcoming strike we decided to leave for trekking after 1 day, when checking out the staff offered us to stay the other day with them when coming back from the trek without extra charges! Airport pick up welcome tea. I've been staying in Eco Hotel twice, in the beginning and at the end of Nepal visit. The owners are great guys, which are very welcomed and provide helpful information. The hotel is clean and located in the center of Thamel, close to everything. There are free shuttles from/to the airport. Good breakfast. + excellent staff, very helpful and kind the best food in Thamel (breakfast as well as lunch) clean rooms, comfortable beds equipped with TV and A/C the best location, no so far from the main square and very close to the main roads, so if You would like to rent a bike (as we did it) it is the best place!. Yes the power goes out every now and then and yes sometimes the water is cold but who cares. Come with no expectations and you will leave with amazing life changing memories. Whilst all staff were alert and caring, would mention Rajendra Dhamala as the eyes and ears of the hotel. He appeared to be everywhere all the time alert to all guests and their needs. The breakfast is ok. 24 hours hot water shower(you have to turn on the tap for 3~5 minutes before using) The water flow is not strong enough, but 24 hours hot water shower is precious in Kathmandu. The restaurant is great and we didn't get sick. They have the best MOMOs in town and the staff are great - good English and very helpful. We left money and Ipads out one day by mistake and they were still there when we returned 6 hours later. All hotel Staff were all time arround you worring for me and my partner for all will go well. food exelent, staff always right. cafe was exelent. thank you to all staff for being so nice. next time will go to this hotel again. AC in the room is so quiet. The room is spacious. Our room was on the fourth floor with no elevator. We are fit and it was not a problem for us. The staff advised an elevator would be installed shortly. There is nothing I really don't like. But, if I have to mention, perhaps it will be the sound of generator. It's wasn't loud though. Staying on the top floor with no elevator gave us some exercise each time we would return to our room. Not a big problem for us but it could be a concern for some guests. Nothing. The internet is a bit slow/sometimes no reception on floors highers than 3. One night we hadn't have a hot water - just warm. to be honest - nothing, of course if You are familliar with other Asian regions, rules and so on. Some rooms more noisy than others due to layout of the hotel, echo-y. But probably can't be helped, it is centre of Thamel after all. there is nothing I did not like. Wifi is weak in some rooms. Locations in google map and letsbookhotel.com map are wrong. It is better to ask them for picking up you from airport. Nothing to complain about. nothing was bad. All good. Window looking into the staircase of the hotel. During the night is very noisy and it is not certain if the noise is coming from the hotel or some bar outside. A kettle in the room and a jug of water would be helpful. A front-facing room is very noisy as a disco from a local backpackers goes to midnight every night. poor internet connection in the room. I didn't like to be in a room where the floor is not clean and the walls are not painted to be clean.I Was in a room without any A.C.i can hear the music out of a club or a pub. I paid 50dollars for one night.I Paid in Pokhara 30 dollars in View point hotel and was clean and nice. I stayed on the 5th floor. The water pressure was poor, wrote to the management the next day, but no fixing. Quite run down and dated installations, bathroom not very clean, uncomfortable bedding. noisy and not clean.
